Marring Young

I am 19 years old and a freshman in college. I`ve been with my boyfriend, who is 21, for 9 months now and we have just started talking about marriage. We are talking about a date this summer, and I was just wondering everyone`s opinion on getting married at the young age of 19.

Hi there. Well since you are asking for advice, I would say there is no rush. Life is LONG. Not saying you should not get married but there is so much time ahead of you. I can only speak from my personal experiance. During my teens/early twenties my outlook on life was different from what it is now. I am 28 now and I am set in a career, have a home, cash saved. I can travel (as you know when people get married they tend to have kids), I can go to the gym -do whatever I want. My fiance and I have been dating since I was 23 and we have been engaged 2yrs. I plan to get married next year. I am SO glad I waited because now after 5yrs together we have been through ups and downs but we have made it.
So basically marriage is good but strive to achieve your personal dreams and goals first and after you have made it to the top, its a perfect time to share your life with that one person you love.
