After Hours

My wedding was 4/23/06. I was absolutely shocked when my brother-in-law came out, after putting his tux on for the first time, the day of the wedding. There was a GIANT GAPING HOLE from his crotch all the way to his butt. We immediately called the store and asked if they can loan us another pair of pants right away as we were taking pictures in less than an hour. We were shocked to hear them tell us that they don`t keep rental pants onsite; however, we can BUY tux pants from them for around $100. What a slap in the face!!! We were actually saved by Mens Warehouse, who is also a national formalwear company. They loaned us pants with no charge. On Afterhours behalf, they did credit our credit card after I made several calls to the store complaining about the situation. I think with all of the running around that we did and the poor customer service that we got during this situation, that it was another slap in the face that they credited us only $50 for the portion of the pants. The manager tried to impress upon me that they ask people to try their tuxes on one or two days before the wedding in case they don`t fit; I said that this was not a fit issue, that it is a HUGE quality control issue on their part. Come on, seriously, folks, the pants looked like a giant Rotweiler went to town on the crotch of the pants!! Wouldn`t give them any of my business anymore.
