Scroll Rods
I am making my own scroll invitations. However, I`m having trouble finding scroll rods. Could you please help me find a vendor or manufacturer of the rods.

AC Moore, Michaels Crafts, www.darice.com and any craft store should carry the scroll rods also known as "dowel" rods. I would also check with the hardware chains such as Home Depot..

I hope you found what you need, we are also making our own scrolls. So far we have tried 2 different designs, with both we used dowel rods. The first try we took a rod and split it in half long ways. I wood burned a vine design along one half of the rod and then stained both rod pieces and some wooden cabinet knobs. Once it dried I glued it back together with the paper inside and glued the knobs to each end of the rod. Looked real good tho a bit bulky. On the 2nd run we tried gluing the paper to the outside of the rod so we wouldn`t have to cut it. I thought it would be easier but it wasn`t... So now I am looking for some metal end caps to put on the end of the rods so if anyone has any ideas that`d be great.
