What Do You Give For A Gift??

My daughter is invited to a school friend`s quinceanera. We just got the invitation a couple days ago. The party is on May 13. I am clueless of this -- I`d never heard of a quinceanera before this. Please help in advising me what my daughter should give her friend as a gift.....what is appropriate? Is money inappropriate? I also have to buy my daughter a dress and shoes for the ocassion....i wish I had received the invitation more in advance. THanks for any help.

Yes money is appropriate. They usually have a little card holder b/c alot of people give money instead of a present. Most teens like money better instead of getting something they don`t like and having to exchange it! but either way it`s the thought that counts!!

Hey well yes for my 15 i got about $630 and i did also get presents alot of pic frams cuz of all the pic that i was going to have ummmmm ohh ya make-up because that is like the sigh of a girl turning into a young lady so make-up would be good....ummm that is what i got so ya have fun!!!!!!!!!! you will i PROMISE
