One Year Anniversary/Valentine`s Day

Hi- I need some ideas. I am planning this for either mine and my boyfriend`s one year anniversary or Valentine`s Day. I know it`s early, but I am planning early.
This is what I am planning: when my boyfriend comes home from work, all the lights are going to be shut off in the house. When he walks in the door, there going to be a path lined with candles and rose petals all the way upstairs to the bathroom. When he gets to the bathroom, there is going to be candles all around the bathtub and candles on the sink. There is going to be soft music playing too. What I need some ideas on is this: I need to leave a note for him on the door, showing him that I am home. But not giving away anything. I thinking something like "Go inside and follow the path." But`s that too bland. I want it spiced up you know? so if anybody has any ideas, please let know. Thanks a bunch!
