Wedding Invitation Wording
My daughter`s fiance has a very large family and has offered to pay for a large portion of the wedding reception, over 300 guests. She asked me since his parents were paying for the bulk of the wedding would it be alright with me if she listed his parents first on the wedding invitations? I have never heard of this. I told her she could word the invitation anyway she and her fiance wanted. What do you think of this?

It is definately not proper etiquette, but if they are paying for the bulk I`d let them. Just don`t let them exclude you. If you are paying for any portion you have the right to see them before they go to printing.
