Quince/ Sweet 16

Well, Im having a Sweet 16 in August 2006 which is like just around the corner. I already got the dress, location, and the 7 girls and guys but the only problem is that 3 of the girls dropped out. I gave them a deadline to give me the money cause it takes about 2 months to order the dresses but i dont know what to do!!!
**** to anyone out there that has had a quince, would it be ok if i only have 5 girls and guys.

Yes honey, It is fine to have no girls if you want it that way. For my daughter, I had the girls find their own gowns, They found gowns that were $160 so I said $10 a month. I found better gowns for $30 on sale at the Bridal Shop and I grabbed the girls, took them and paid half. 4 girls had dropped out because they couldn`t give me $10 a month. When I found the other gowns they came back. I knew that these gowns would only have been worn one time for most of them (unless they wear them to their prom) but I found a really pretty Empire waist gown with the wrap for $30. It was last years style and the shop had so many and I felt that since they were doing my daughter a favor, I would pay half. I am doing the same for the gents and their Tux`s. They are $50 per and I am paying half. The gowns that you chose, can you look to find something on the rack that is cheaper that all the girls can afford? They dont` have to stand out, YOU have to stand out. The gowns I got them were beautiful. See if you can take them somewhere and find them something cheaper so all of you ladies can be in it or just go with the 5. You will be fine.
