Attire For Winter Wedding

Hi everyone. I am so excited that everyone has so many ideas for a winter wonderland theme. I am getting married jan 07. THe wedding will be in GA where it doesn`t normally snow, but gets cold in the winter. I am going to get a strapless/spaghetti strap dress mainly bc I don`t like dresses with sleeves or anything like that. I don`t really want the fur cape look either, even though I have seen it and is beautiful! Should it be okay for my bridesmaids to wear strapless dresses (light blue) without a cape or anything? The only cover up I would even consider is the shawls that you can get to match the dresses. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks
