Getting Married And Pregnant
I need some advice. I am getting married in July and have just found out that I am pregnant. According to my calculations I will be 4-5months pregnant. (I need to verify with an OB/GYN). It`s funny because some of my friends have tried so hard to get pregnant(in their 30`s) and here I am 36, getting married for the first time in a Catholic ceremony for the first time and I`m pregnant. So after coming to terms with it...my fiance and I see it as a blessing!..my question is...will I be showing alot...can it be concealed until we tell everyone. The dress is already ordered! Thanks!

Hi congrats on your pregnancy. You wanted to know if it will show. It all depends on the person and how your body works. Some people do not show until they are six months while others begin the show at three months it is really unpredictable. You said that you ordered your dress, that dress probably will not fit I would suggest to wait until a month before the wedding to get the dress ( remember it is not only your belly that will grow but also other parts like you breast). I dont think its anyones buisness whether your pregant on you wedding day but they will however find that out soon or later :) its up to you if you want your invites to celebrate your pregnancy, maybe you can announce it at your reception so that you have both your wedding and pregnancy to celebrate.

Congratulations. First of all when you are in your mid 30`s, there is nothing wrong with finally becoming pregnant. However, you will most likely show, but with this being your first pregnancy, it should not be very much. I can guarantee that dress won`t fit, I would suggest and empire waistline for your dress. These dresses are like those in Pride and Prejudice. It you wear that style dress, even if you are showing a little, it won`t matter. Again Congratulations
