Quinceanera/Sweet Sixteen... I Would Really Like One

Hi ThErE! My name is Dionne, i`m 15 years old and i have a twin sister and we live in miami, florida. Me and my sister are turning sixteen in the beginning of june. So we decided that we are going to hold a sweet sixteen party in due to late planning and on top of our mother is going to be in turkey for 4 months so we hope on having it in the beginning of fall. But we may not have one because my parents say that they can`t afford one. My older sister was going to have one but then decided thet she didn`t want one this was before my dad went to serve in Iraq. So we came up with an idea to raise the money ourselves! We know that we are not hispanish(were multi-racial:native american and african american) but our friends who are says we should have a sweet sixteen with the same similarties of a quince. We want to hold the party in a banquet hall or even in a hotel and the guest list number is around 210 in ABC order. We also made a planning list for the day for everyone to ready. Our friends help us with the sixteen people that are inportant to us and we thought it would be kind of cool to have invitations with the evelops but as well like peddles writen on them.But there is more to be done and we need help. (BiG tImE!) so if you can help with your great ideas that you may have and would tell me what a quince is all about we would appreciate it! P.S. I know that for hispanish girls that a quince is very important to them and i feel really guilty trying to have a quince style party that is important to your culture and my twin and i don`t want to take that away from you. So if you feel insulted by this we are really sorry.
