Help Decorating For A Christmas Wedding

I`m planning a December 23, 2006 wedding. I need ideas about how to decorate for a Christmas wedding. I would like to use several colors such as red, hunter green, silver, gold, deep purple, and navy. Any ideas will be a big help. Thanks. Jennifer

Hi Jennifer

I would love to help.

You may see some of my work at www.cmbcrafts.com
They are just examples as I work with you to create what you are looking for.

The glass ball ornaments have been very popular for Christmas weddings as favors and can be incorporated into the table decor to add to the centerpieces, etc.

Email me anytime I am happy to help

Get some mini Christmas trees for your centerpirces and mini bulbs and battrey operated lights. Get regular sized Christmas trees to put by the door, get Connie to do your favors (Christmas Bulbs) and put them all over the trees, then as the night is almost over, have 2 attendants pass out the bulbs as people are leaving out the door (usually the hall will have Christmas trees for decorations so ask if you can use 2 for that purpose). For the head table, get the lighted garland, have someone swag the garland around the table. Also get more lighted garland to go around the hall (they may have that as well). Whatever you get, can always be used at your home or you can sell to family members. Look on Connies` website. I love the bulbs that I have on my tree. They are very unique and beautiful. The ribbon is really nice and you only have to give one per household. So if you invite 3 people from one house, they get one ornament unless you want each person to have one.

Hi Jennifer

Firstly I`d like to add that I`m also getting married on the 23 December 2006. It`s winter for you but summer for me, but the ideas you`ve gotten thus far are great!

I`d just like to add (seeing that I`m completely envious of you for having a winter wedding), use faux fur for you or your bridesmaids. Don`t have a gift tabe but have a huge Xmas tree and put your gifts under that! If you`d like snacks on the tables, put them in trinkett boxes so that it looks like the gifts of the three wise men! Colour code each table perhaps (if you want to use all the colours) and have tradtional Xmas cookies as your wedding favours! My fiancé and I plan to make our wedding personal yet festive. We`re having pictures up of our first Xmas on the earth and then one recent one! Let your mind wander and have fun!

Regards

Liezel
