Met On The Internet And Married

Congrads on your internet marriage. I to met my fiance on the internet. I was looking for a friend, some one to have dinner with or just a coke, but was ready for commitment to the right person. We spoke briefly on messenger a few times mostly to leave a message for the other, then one eve we finally talked a bit more and decided to meet. He lives in Kansas and I in Oklahoma. He was comming thru to visit his brother so we decided to mee for lunch. Five hours later and having very much enjoyed his company we made plans to see each other again. Fortunately a friend I went to Jr High with lives in the same city he does and I have spent the last several New Years with her so our next time to meet was the next week end of New Years. He was and is such the perfect gentleman. We decided after a day together to make a commitment to one another. We have spent every weekend since together. I never thought I would marry so quickly, but I also knew after the third time we met that I would marry him some day. He simply swept me off my feet adn I guess I have the same for him as I have 5 very young children (3,6,6,9,12) he never thought he would be involved with a woman with young children let alone 5 as hos youngest is 28. A whirlwind courtship and now I am planning a June 3 wedding.
There are awful stories and there are the most romantic stories to internet dating and marriages. Some people feel its desperation or cheap. I feel it tis jsut another avenue to meeting people. Distance can be stressful, I was fortunate we are just a few hours from one another adn I was fortunate since I met the most wonderful man in the world.
