Lots of lights and sparkles. Maybe an ice sculpture...

I`m planning a December 4, 2004 wedding and I`m using a snow theme. For the reception: I`m renting one of those small garden bridges and using blue rope lights to create a pond shape. Then I`ll add white twinkle lights in the inside of the shape. I also will use tulle or cotton batting to create "snow" on the ground. I also plan on hanging white twinkle lights and those snowflake lights. My colors are navy blue and ice blue with silver accents. Keep me posted and we can exchange ideas. Congrats!

Congratulations! I am getting married this December and have chosen navy blue and silver for my colors as well. One thing we`re planning to do is decorate small Christmas trees with battery-operated white lights and small clear ornaments or navy bows for the tables. If you`d like to incorporate the navy and silver in your invitations, there is a FANTASTIC navy invitation by William Arthur (www.williamarthur.com) that has some shimmer in the paper and a soft glow around white text. Best of luck to you!

Let me tell you!!!! I just recently got married December 21,2002. It was absolutely gorgeous. I had candles that lit up the entire church (held about 3000 people). Then there were twinkle lights above the stage area. There were two huge Christmas trees that were decorated by the church with just the spirit of christmas all throughout! I highly recommend if wanting to make it a "winter wonderland" you gotta have twinkle lights....snow flakes....candles...christmas trees. I had the country club also have a "hot chocolate bar" that served hot cocoa, espresso and drinks of that nature. Everyone LOVED the idea!! If you need any further assistance, send me an email.
