Bridemaids Dresses

My wedding has been resch from 06/18/2006 to 08/12/2006. However, I have purchased my dress, and some of my Bridemaids have also purchased their gown. The problem is 3 of my bridemaids are from Louisiana. 2 put their gowns in layaway, and one purchased hers, but had to send it back to the Metarie store, for repair/or reorder, due to an oil stain , that was on the dress. Well , katrina hurricane came along, and destroyed that store. Now has reopened, and my people was told , that they would have to pay for there purchase all over again. They do not have the receipt, that too was destroyed. Is there anyway, they can be accomodated, and helped in this situation. I live in ga. My wedding is in Louisiana. Not only had I have to select another gown because of discontinuation of my original gown picked and some has purchased, but now this.. Please help, any suggestions would be appreciated.
