Wedding Theme

I plan on marrying in August 2007 and need help to decide on a theme for my wedding. My husband to be is from New Orleans, whom I met during Mardi Gras six years ago. The colors I`ve chosen are emerald green and white, with white roses, calla lillies, etc. And plenty of candles as i plan to have the wedding in the evening and want the room to glow. Please help?

What about incorporating a bit of Mardi Gras into your reception, I could do beautiful Centerpieces with Mardi Gras Masks (done in your colors) and Cala Lillies.

I would be happy to draw you some sketches of what I am thinking.

Since you met during Mardi Gras, you should make that your theme and Connie has beautiful favors and centerpieces that would go great with that theme. Your theme is how you met an it sounds so wonderful. You should take that and run with it.
