I am having a cinderella themed wedding in may- which is great since we have small children. Needless to say we are on a budget and are doing most things ourselves. You can get invitations with castles on them. I ordered a spun glass castle and pumpkin carriage off ebay for 13$. Great idea for inexpensive but memorable reception centerpieces- find assorted throw pillows with tassles at thrift stores. Second hand dress shoes also. Spray paint shoes in silver and attatch to pillow. Also may i reccommend a red aisle runner instead of the traditional white. Have a cinderella soundtrack played during dinner. Also found engraved knife and server on ebay. Stay away from the stores as thir items are often overpriced. I purchased 2 plain glass champagne flutes from the dollar store and made a stencil from a balloon of cinderella and prince charming dancing. Put that stencil on the glasses and our names and dressed them up with coordinating ribbons on the stems. May stencil the plastic flutes for the rest of the guests if time allows.
