Drum Theme Centerpieces

Does anyone have any ideas for drum theme centerpieces that I can make or put flowers into for my son`s Bar Mitzvah?

Karen,
I know you posted this a long time ago, but I`m curious about what you decided to do. My son`s Bar Mitzvah theme is also drums, so I`m searching for ideas.
Thanks, Jodi

I just did a drum theme bar mitzvah for my son. I bought gold charger plates and hot glued drum ornaments around the edges. I bought silver and gold drum ornaments after Christmas at Big Lots and just cut off the thread piece used for hanging them. I put a 4" candle in the center. It looked great!

Your centerpieces sound great. Do you have any pictures of them?

I don`t have the pictures back from the photographer yet. If you give me your email, I will send you some. I made a really cool candlelighting piece, too. For the place cards I used drum sticks tied with gold ribbon with the guest name card attached. The sticks were then the party favor as well.

We are using round paper mache boxes painted to look like my son`s kit. We are using graduated sizes to resemble a bass and toms, connected together with metal dowels. The large bass will be on its side, the toms on top, face down.

I`d love to see some pictures of everyone`s centerpieces. My son is doing the same theme I believe.
