I would consider adding some pink. Your colors have quite a stark difference between them, you may want to take that into consideration. Yes, roses are rather common however they are great at filling in the blank when it comes to needing something in a specific color. I would go with a red that has a lot of pink in it so that you can do a medium pink without contrast. As far as roses go, you may want to look into black beauties, black bacaras and hocus pocus. For your ivory, you may want to look into a sahara rose, that color looks great with dark reds and pinks. Other flowers that would be fun are cymbidium orchids (used as individual blooms), scabiosa, mini calla lilies and hydrangea.
