Honeymoon Registery
I hope I`m not opening a can of worms... FH and I already live together and have all we need. I`ve been looking at honeymoon registeries, but they all charge my guests to give gifts. I don`t think that`s right. Still, I would love if they could be part of the trip. (We are working class and will probably never have another vacation. We are saving to pay for this one. We are prepared to pay for everything; gifts are gravy.)
I am considering setting up a website with the details of our plans: where we`ll be staying, what we`ll be visiting, what extras are available at the hotel, etc. Even my great aunt has a computer with internet, so everyone will be able to access it. We will tell them about the site when they call to ask, "What do they need?" My family always makes this call, and usually the mom has a list of things to tell them.
Would it be best to let guests physically bring cash to the reception, or should I provide info about gift certificates, etc. So they know exactly what they helped pay for? I don`t know how practical a bank account would be. We live in the same area, but different towns.
Any advice?
