Aspiring Wedding Planner Seeking Advice

I am currently a second year college student with a Business Administration major. I LOVE weddings, and would like to pursue a career in wedding planning. I would like some advice on where to start and what to do to achieve this aspiration. I am also interested in assisting any current wedding planners if possible to gain some experience in the field.
