Bridesmaid`s Responsibilites In Gift Giving.

My brother is getting married, and I will be a bridesmaid, from out of state. I don`t know what I should do for the bride and groom. The other bridesmaids are in their state and I don`t know them well enough to ask the proper protocol, as far as gifts to them, before the normal wedding gift on the day of the wedding. Any help on my role, would be helpful.
