David`s Bridal

I had a appointment at David`s Bridal in Milpitas on Jan. 21, 2006 at 12:30pm for 13 of my brides maids. Each whom are going to be purchasing a top for my wedding that range from $60-$100. The day of the appointment I brough in my own black Nine West heels that cost $89. And black tull skirt with a 1 1/2 inch border that was made my my mother for $59 for the brides maid to wear for my wedding and I forgot them in the store. I did not realize that until Jan. 30, 2006 so I called the store. I spoke to Jenan who told me she could not help me because she was not the consultant that helped me the day of my appointment. I asked her if they had a lost and found and she said if there was something left the consultant would clean the area where she helped us and she would call me to let me know. I never received a call. I asked if she could look around the store and see if my skirt and shoes were there. Jenan said she wouldnt know where to look if something was left. I told Jenan I wanted to leave a message for Claire who was my consultant and she said "Why dont you just call her on Sunday when she is in". I told her I would still like to leave a message for Claire to call me so she knew what I was about. Plus, how would she know it I was the one who left the skirt and shoes if she had so many brides to help. I finally got her to get my information.

I decided to call on Feb. 05, 2006 at 4pm because I had not received a call from Claire. I had to call 3 times because the first time they said she had left for the day, then they hung up on me while on hold and the third time she finally answered. I explain to her that I had left a message for her and she had no returend my call. Then I explained my situation, I was there on Jan. 21, 2005 and I left a black skirt and black shoes. She went on to tell me that she had not seen the skirt but she did see some black shoes and that her Distric Manager had came in and the they threw everything out that did not belong in the store. I asked her if she knew if it was my stuff. She responded in a rude tone "your not listening to me! I said, I saw black shoe but not a skirt". I went on to explain to her that I know that it was my fault for leaving my stuff there but I am your customer and you through out my stuff. I asked if there was a process to throw stuff out of the store. I would think that any things found in the store would have to be cleared by all counsultant to see if it might belong to their customers. Claire responded NO that they just through the stuff out. I did tell her I was up set and shocked that they would just throw my things out and that she never called me that my things were there. She responded by yellling at me, "I am not responsible for your things and it is not by job". By this time she was yelling, was being rude and I could not talk because she would not let me get a word in". I asked to talk to her manager four times while she was still talking over me. I did not want to continue talikng to her because she was being really rude to me. She responded "For what! She cant do anything about it. Plus, she cant talk right now. So your going to have to call at a different time". Then she hung up on me.

I woulf think that David`s Bridal would expect better customer service from there employees. I could not believe that type of service a was receiving from a company that I am doing business with. I would not wish this tipe to of service for any other bride. I do not wish to do business with David`s Bridal and I will tell everyone I know not to go there. I am going to 9 weddings this year and I will make sure none of the brides go there or to any other Davids Bridal.
