Groom`s Parents Responsibilities

I have not one but two kids getting married in 07 and I am not a very knowledgeable person about the whole wedding scene. I need desperately for someone to tell me in no uncertain terms what exactly is my responsibility in regards to the planning and paying for of these weddings so I can be socially correct for my children. One is a boy and one is a girl. Thank you

I`m in a similar situation. Traditionally, the groom`s parents pay for the rehearsal dinner, the bar at the reception, and anything else they want to help with. The bride`s parents pay for the hall, food, flowers, just about everything else. Copy & paste this into your browser, I`m sure it will help. Good Luck.
