Are the grooms parents responsible for the honeymoon?

Hi Diane, it is a custom (specially in the US) that the groom pays for the honeymoon. The groom`s parents can cooperate but they are not "responsible" for it. The groom can ask his parents to help out with the expense but they are not obligated to do so.
