No Children

Hello, I feel that there is no reason why you cant make it clear that you would not like children at your wedding.Sure its a family thing, but for your adult family. Weddings are for the adults, the same way that birthday parties, and baptisims are for kids. I come from a HUGE family, I have over 40 little cousins alone. (just my sides of the family)I am having my wedding at a very nice resort. I cannot imagine having all those children running around like crazy. I think in certain cases it is a parents responsibility to provide chilcare for their own children. Me and my fiance are paying for our whole wedding by ourselves, we cannot afford to have all those kids babysat as well. So what we are doing, I just designated one of my aunts to tell all the family that there are no kids allowed. (if you do not feel comforatable putting it on the invite) In my family things spread very quickly so this will work for me, good luck.
