How To Invite Church Members To Wedding

Hi Barbara, a simple way to invite them to the ceremony but not to the reception is just simply to send the invitations but not to include the Reception Card or reception invitation. Many guests will get it that they are only invited to the ceremony and will be ok with it. If any members of the congregation have questions of where is the reception card, your girlfriend or some one else can kindly explain that although they were invited to the ceremony, the Bride and Groom have a budget and a tight list so unfortunately not everybody gets an invitation to the reception. Just simply is an "extended" invitation.

Barbara, you can have a small "reception" at the church prior to going to the real reception for your church guests. Punch and a few light snacks, so those guests dont feel left out.
