Going Out

Ok i`ve liked this guy soooo much and now we are going out but we dont talk to each other. I`ve tried to talk to him but i choke idk what to say, He doesnt even say anything to me. Everyone tells me he`s shy but he`s never been the shy type. What shall i do?
