Becoming A Wedding/Events Coordinator

Hey everyone. I was wondering if there are any online courses to become a wedding planner. I know there are some that cost around $900.00 but I am not sure if any of them are really woth it, as well as if I could find one less expensive. Please help!!! I live in Illinois if anyone knows of any in the area
