NEEDING SOME ADVISE PLEASE HELP ME

HELLO I AN 19 YEARS OLD AND MY BOYFRIEND IS 23 WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 6 MO NOW AND HE ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM I HAVE JUST MOVED TO FL FROM MY HOME TOWN AND FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN INDIANA WITH HIM SO WE HAVE ALREADY MADE A BIG COMM. BUT I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE TO START PLANNING THE WEDDING AND WITH ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN INDIANA I HAVE NO ONE TO HELP BESIDES OVER THE PHONE WE ARE HAVING OUR WEDDING IN INDIANA BUT WHERE CAN I START PLANNING? THE WEDDING IS IN ONLY 5 MO AND I KNOW I HAVE ALOT OF WORK TO DO BUT WHERE DO I START WE CANT SPEND A LOT ON THE WEDDING BUT WE WANT IT TO BE SPECIAL I AM HAVING MY DRESS MADE FOR ME BUT THAT IS AS FAR AS I AM PLEASE HELP!

I think the very first thing you need to decide is where you`re going to have it -- that will determine the type of menu & alcohol selections, number of people you can invite & greatly affect your budget. Another important thing to decide is your colors. Since you have to do a lot over the phone, put various people in charge of things. Maybe your maid of honor can take care of looking for nice centerpieces and your mom and take care of favors. I`ve found most people are more than willing to help, the trick is not getting so obsessed about everything being perfect and trusting them to make a good decision.
