Mother`s Gowns

Biggest thing to remember is there is no "supposed to" This is YOUR wedding, so it should be the way you would like it to be. The mothers should wear what they are comfortable in...within reason. As long as she doesn`t want to wear white, let her choose.

The way that the etiquette books are saying that goes is the bride`s mother picks her dress first and then `informs` the groom`s mother whaty color she is wearing. But, that being said, now days anything goes. My mom and my fiance`s mom are given the wedding colors and told to get a dress with those colors, that way they can find a color and a style that they are comfortable in. Ultimately the way that everyone is comfortable, is above most important.
