Traditional Order Of The Reception

I am helping with my granddaughters reception and need to know the order of a traditional reception at a sit down luncheon. What religious ceremonial things take place to make it a bat mitzvah without going overboard. I remember the challah at the beginning....need help with the order so it can be elegant and meaningful
