Do you mean the theme is princess? Is this a suprise party? If not, I would suggest getting her input. Anyways, lets see, princess for 16..... Have them personalize tee-shirts saying " Just call me princess" or " Your in the presance of royalty" or use their names "princess Judy" Princess Kate" etc. These can be used as an activity as well as a party favor. You can get bumper stickers that say "I am a princess and this is my royal steed." teen princess is hard to do because they have grown out of that "pretty Princess" stage, however, it can be accomplished if you think like a teen. If it is a Boy girl party you can also include phrases like "prince charming" or "you say I`m a toad, well kiss me and find out!" just an idea for party favors and arts and crafts.

You say princess, but you could use Cinderella as your basis. That was my daughter`s theme. We had a combination of a quince and a sweet sixteen.
First, we made an arch with garlands of lilacs and ivy and lavender tulle. Under it we made a chair cover (white satin with a lavender and pink tulle bow on the back because she hates peacock chairs) for her to sit under when she did the shoes. It was in the center of the dance floor and it was moved to the back of the room at the end of the shoe ceremony for her dance with her dad and escort and her chair was put at her table. We had a sign in board instead of a guest book and it went over really well (I have a picture of it), and best of all, EVERYONE WENT "OOOOH" WHEN THEY SAW THE ROOM!!! We decorated the room with tulle and Christmas lights swaged all around the room and it made it look gorgeous. We had the centerpieces on the tables (wire dress forms with dried flower bodices and tulle skirts with ribbon and iridescent pearl glitter) with balloons coming out of the center, iridescent confetti on the tables, the favors were castles and pumpkin carriages, and a little decorated plastic slipper (we passed it around to music so whoever got it would get the centerpiece). Each place setting had the fork, knife wrapped inside a napkin, tied with curling ribbon and a chocolate "wand" star lollipop that said "Sweet 16". Behind her table was a cardboard cutout of a castle. Her bouquet even had a wand/scepter in the center of it.
Instead of individual candles, we made a candle centerpiece in the Cinderella theme. She did her thank you speech with one song ("Because You Loved Me") and then a candle dedication for important people in her family and her friends (they were mentioned in her speech too). As she called each name, they came up and lit a candle on the centerpiece. Her candle centerpiece was made made with two large round styrofoam disks, and a "staircase" in smaller round styrofoam disks with the candles in each one (regular tapers), and it had a Cinderella coach, Cinderella and little slippers (Barbie shoes) on it. When it was all lit, we sang her "Happy Birthday" and she then blew out her candles. It was really beautiful, and there wasn`t a dry eye in the house by the time she was done!!
If you email me I can send you pictures and give you some leads on websites. Good luck! We had a great time with the party!
