Re: David`s Bridal

I work for a bridal salon in the Northeast and I understand that some things do happen to wedding gowns and there are legitimate customer issues. As far as appointments go, a wedding dress is not a pair of jeans, but a lifelong dream. When we tell you there are no appointments available that doesn`t mean that you can scream an appointment out of me!!! If we`re booked, we`re booked. Just like you who expect a certain amount of service, the bride with the 11:00am appointment made a month before expects and deserves the consultants full attention. Not the person walking in at 11:00am and demanding to be served. That means pick up the phone and make an appointment!!! I am so sick of customers lying, threatening me, and just being plain rude. We are all trained to explain to customers the policies. Not see how miserable we can make you. All I hear from ignorant customers is how the bridal consultant was so rude - have you checked your own attitude lately. So why do you buy your wedding gown with us if you have such a bad experience? All you are looking for is discounts and refunds!!!!!! ALTERATIONS ARE NOT FREE!!! YOU SIGN A RECEIPT AT CHECK OUT EXPLAINING THIS TO YOU!!! Also if I came into your place of business and talked to you the way you talk to me, you would call the cops. I don`t understand what gives a "bride" the right to think that she is the only one planning a wedding. Patience people, READ WHAT YOU SIGN!!! Ask questions and most of all BE NICE because that is going to make your experience much more enjoyable!!!

I went to a David`s Bridal in Fresno and I did EVERYTHING you said "brides" should do, and I STILL had a bad experience! I made my appt 3 weeks ahead of time, at 11:00 am and was told there were NO OTHER appts. Yet! My consultant on the phone SWORE she`d be there for me. She wasn`t. I was stuck with a consultant that dissappeared, which i will say was not her fault, the manager gave her two "walk-in" brides, and she was busy with them. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT SO I SHOULD HAVE BEEN SERVED FIRST. I was NOT rude to the consultant, nor was a rude when I asked to speak to a manager about my situation. She, on the other hand was VERY rude, gave me rehersed mechanical answers and then after I started crying because I was so upset, when my fiancee tried talking to her she COMPLETELY IGNORED HIM and turned around to talk to one of the other consultants. THEN she turned around and cut him off, to ask if I still wanted to try on wedding gowns. ( Of course I said no) She never apologized for putting the "walk-in" appointments before me, she never ONCE acted in the least bit like she gave a damn. So I`m sorry if you`re "tired of brides" but some of us aren`t like the ones you described and we STILL get treated REALLY SH*TTY by the David`s Bridal Employees. David`s Should be closed down!

I`m from New York, and got my dress at Davids Bridal in Spring Valley. The service was wonderful, the consultants treated me like a Queen, and My Bridesmaids even got their dresses there as well. I`m sorry you had such a poor experience, but that is not to say that it is David`s Bridal, perhaps you just so happened to have an inexperienced team to deal with. There was a Davids Bridal in New Jersey on route 4 where the service was terrible, and I just choose not to patronize them. It is always our choice, but if you want a good deal, sometimes you get what you pay for!
