Tattoos

Well...i have quite a few tattoos(backpiece, and my whole left arm) as does my fiance as well as all the groomsmen and 2 of the bridesmaids. My mom has always been very supportive of me although i know she does really like me having them, as has hinted that she knows some people that can cover them for my wedding. I know there aare people in my family that will not be to thrilled of them either (even though i would rather not even have those ones there..unfortunately i have to). I work at a very upscale office so i am no stranger to hiding them and wearing longsleeves...i guess my question is should i cover them up even though I love them...(they are part of me and who i am) for the sake of offending people at MY wedding?

I think that it is your day, and no matter what people think you need to go and wear what you feel comfortable in. Your tattoos are a part of you and what you are, so I would not for one second feel ashamed of them. If someone is going to "look down on you" because of the art that you have decided to place on your body, then they really don`t know the true you. You need to do what makes you (and your fiance) happy. This is the only day that you are going to get to do it all your way, don`t let close minded people get in the way of that. If you feel comfortable with them being shown, then I say go for it, and let everyone think what they will. Hope that I helped!!
