"HIPPY" WEDDING
I was wondering if anyone could help me in planning a hippy wedding? I want to know exactly what makes it a hippy wedding, and how to make it stand out without going overboard (but money is not an issue at all..)..thank you..please respond immediately....

Angel,
Planning for a hippy wedding is a very unique idea that will also be very colorful.
To begin, you will want to incorporate "Flower Power" and probably some tie-dyed attire. The bride`s dress is normally a cotton gauze dress that is worn over a white cotton dress, usually void of decoration.
The use of beads for your favors and centerpieces is another great idea. For example, you could use lava lamps that rest on decorated stands.
If you want the absolute true fashion, then you will want to do away with the chairs and use pillows and cushions for your guest, which is not really recommended if you have a lot of older guests.
If you need more ideas, just post your email address.
Have fun!

Angel,
I imagine the ceremony outdoors in a park. The bride in a loose gauzy cotton dress, barefoot with daisies in her hair.

Amen Karen! Well, I am going to post my origional message again, even though it was erased the first time. Outdoors, in a field, the boquet small and with wild flowers as if it had been just picked. Not too flashy with the bridesmades costumes, mabye focus on the "pesant Style" Release Butterflyes instead of throwing rice. Wear a small reath of flowers in your hair insted of a headpiece. Wear an anclet, go barefoot! I feel very strongley about this wedding, because this was my theme when I got married, That is why I posted my ideas a second time. Hopefully they wont get erased again.

I saw this neat idea in a magazine for like party favors, they are the baby trees you might have gotten one when you were in grade school, anyways you give them out to the guest so they can plant them. Its a cute idea!! very earthy!!!
