Winter Theme Wedding
I`m having a winter theme wedding in August and indigo as the color for the wedding (bridal party dresses and flowers). Do any of you have any decorating ideas? So far I came up with having miniature Christmas trees as center pieces and blue cala lilies for the bouquet. Any ideas or suggestions would help. Thanks

I am also having a winer themed wedding this January. You can find a lot of things now that it is so close to Christmas in department stores. I personally have found a lot of items at Target. For example, instead of traditional pew bows, I am using big fuzzy snowflakes that I found in the ornament section. I am also using the pretty glistening artificial snow that you can buy by the bags almost anywhere. I am going to use the snow on the windows, on the guest book table, etc. My wedding is black and white. The bridesmaids will be carrying one singe stem rose to realy make the winter whites stand out. Also, I am using candles that have a sprakle to them for the memory and unity candles. I also found these at Target. I am using ivy bowls with black marbles and white glistneing snowflake floating candles in the windows of the church. I will be leaving the ceremony decked out with a fur cape over my dress, and be going straight to our Blue Hawiia reception! I hope some of my ideas have been a help to you. Feel free to email me back with any comments. I would love to hear how your winter wedding planning is going.
