Ok first sorry........lol :)
Really you may have to have a tux made in camo....... However before you do that call around to tux rental shops and ask them if they have or if they know of anyone that has camo type tuxs ( even if it is just the jacket you can use camo type dress pants if you can only find a tux type camo jacket. I hope this helps ............... GOODLUCK!!!

I have been looking everywhere for camoflauge for a wedding. A tux, decorations, and even a camoflauge wedding dress. I can`t find any of them. Can you help?

I`m planning a camouflage wedding too. I found satin fabric available from a company called snyder creek their website is www.snydercreek.com. When I called for a swatch, they said that they actually carry two different patterns - mossy oak new break up and one from true timber camo. I also found really cute cake toppers and invitation or napkin imprints at www.coloradocarla.com. I`ve looked high and low for camo paper to use for invitations, but just finally came up with a great alternative- I`m going to try using the advantage timber (or whichever pattern it is) wallpaper border (available from cabela`s)... I`ll cut it to the appropriate width and layer in some other contrasting cardstock and tie it all together with raffia or something.

Hello Mary, I thought the exact same thing that you are now. My dad and fience said that they wanted camouflage in the wedding and at first I was totally against it, but after looking it over it turned into a great idea. (My wedding is in October). My first suggestion is go to theformalsportsman.com. They have almost everything there that you can think of and at a great price. Also, what I have been doing, is just searching around the internet for just camouflage wedding stuff, and I found some silk leaves (instead of flower peddles) to throw down the isle. And also, if you want to go all out, I found strings of lights that are the shape of shotgun shells. All I`m doing is just having the vests and ties camo, and the regular tuxedos black. And for the bridesmates, they have "champagne" colored dresses which I think is the best color to go with the camo. I really hope I`ve helped and I hope that whatever you find out, let me know so I can get some more ideas. Thanks

I am getting married next year 07-07-07, and I am the one who wants camo in my wedding. I think it`s a great idea. You can go to justcamo.com and they should have some things there for you. I am just having a hard time finding a wedding dress that has a little camo on it. Or you can also go to Google and and type in camo wedding and it will bring up some sites for you. Good Luck and Congrats.

Hello Ladies,
I would love to help and I did do up a quick sample flute done in a fall camouflage theme, you may see that on the flutes page on my web site, but I can do them in any type of camo pattern, colors, etc.
Candle bowls, etc. Would also be fun to do in a camo theme around the rim and text, whatever you would like the sky is the limit as everything is custom made to order.

Cristy,
I`d love to see pictures. My soon-to-be brother-in-law is an avid hunter and loves the idea of a camo-themed wedding, but his fiancee is not yet on board with that idea. I`m hoping pictures of a successful camo wedding will help to persuade her!
Thanks!

I am also having a camo hunting/fishing themed wedding. The guys are wearing the camo vest and tie with a black tux and my girls are wearing celedon ( a light green) colored dresses. I am wearing white but the ribbons on my flowers are camo. I have seen the shot gun shell lights but decided I could make my own for less money. You can purchase empty shot gun shells for reloading at any sports store, bass pro, gander mountain, etc. Cut a small slit on either side of the plastic part of the shell and slide it up onto the string on christmas lights, it works great. If anyone else is including the fishing part, my table centerpieces are tackle boxes I picked up at yard sales and I am opening them up and planting flowers in them. I custom made all my own invitations, hobby lobby stores have camo paper that works well. I also glued some of the shotgun shells I used on the lights to clean votive candle holders for the tables. Lastly we are serving venison for the dinner and having venison jerky made and packed for guest favors. Good luck to everyone! If anyone has anymore ideas I could use I would appreciate it. A lot of people have made fun of me for this wedding but hunting and fishing is something my fiance and I do together often so I know when people leave our wedding they will say, "wow that was really brian and jennifer!" Remember it`s YOUR day!

Just yesterday I agreed to doing camo in my wedding. My fiancee is doing the mossy oak vest, but instead of the camo tie he is wearing an ivory color to match my dress. He wanted to stand out so all the grooms men are doing the cream colored vest and ties. One new idea is at our reception hall (around where the groom cake will be) we are putting up camo, spanish moss,etc...Hunting is a new love of mine and a long one of his so it ended up being a cute idea. Not to mention we are getting married the opening weekend of rifle season in LA.

I am having my wedding in this very particular theme. I have found that a lot of the tux rental places are now carrying mossy oak or realtree camo tuxes. If your trying to think of something for your girls i would go for a green that is in the camo or even a light tan.
