Decorations

Hello..i was reading most of the messages here..and i dont wnat to get involved in all the talk.. There fore i am making suggestions about decorations.. We are making quince for our daughter.. She is ahving the traditional colors of pink.. I found it to be cheaper if you have the time to make centers yourself.. But most people dont like that.. May i suggest.. Plastic champagne glasses with an arrangement of silk flowers in the cup part? usually u can get the glasses @25 or so for like 6 dolars.. Then you would tkae the ribbon with the date and such and hot glue it to the stem part.. I have been experimenting for my daughter`s quince and there is so much you can do!! just let your imagination flow..i am excited about the wuince since she is my only daughter... We are also saving ourselves alot of money by trying to go budget wise.. It doesnt matter how many padrinos there are.. It really is the meaning of it.. And i am proud to say that my daughter "thank God" is a vrigin and young respectful lady who respects the tradition ... Like the owner of the hall said when we went to put a deposit on the hall "ahhhhhhh una meta quinceanera como debe ser!! con los colores y todo!!..." she was so happy to see that finally the traditon was giong to happen at thier hall.. We are not having this big representation like they do have now.. Its simple to the point the changing of the shoes and crown and the last dance as a little girl and then we will have the first dance as a young woman all to be with her father..and on this day she will realize that the key word here is following your beliefs as taught in the church.. Well thanks for lsitening.. Also have you thought of balloon centers? they are gorgeus too "good luck on your quince!!! ~irma
