Wedding Planner

In regards to becoming a wedding planner or wedding consultant, unfortunately there are online programs only, no schools. My brother-in-law is getting married in about 1 1/2 yrs from now and I took it upon myself to pitch in and give him and his fiance some pointers. From there, I got pointed their "official wedding planner". I just love it. I think this is becoming my passion. They don`t go anywhere or don`t make a decision until they have consulted with me. I make sure they`re saving money for the most important things in their wedding but without having to sacrifice their taste. So far everything is coming out great. Some things I recommend: Research, research, research. Not giving up pays off. Always look for wholesale. When talking to vendors, businesses, etc BE AGGRESSIVE but always courteous. Don`t take NO for an answer, find your way to get what you want (of course always the legal way). Businesses that appreciate their customers (or future customers) are always willing to make compromisses.
