Chocolate And Blue Wedding

I have seen lots of ideas for pink and brown wedding. I am planning a wedding for November. I have decided on chocolate bridesmaid dresses with a dark aqua color as an accent. I am having problems with finding flowers to go. I wanted them to be the blue color??? I also am looking for wedding favors. Anyone have ANY ideas to use for a chocolate and blue wedding.

Blue asters are beautiful in the fall. For a picture see: http://www.ernest-charles.com/acatalog/asters_350.jpg

Blue orchids would also be beautiful: http://www.deephawaii.com/orchids/2002/blue.jpg

Also Delphinium and Irises. I`m sure there are many more. If you need help with custom wedding invitations, feel free to browse my samples at

I just had a fall wedding with chocolate and ivory as my colors. I am selling EVERYTHING. Chocolate brown velvet custom made table top linens, custom chocolate brown table runners for small tables, a chocolate velvet covered wooden giftcard box , and much more.

I have 14 90" choco velvet table toppers and am asking $350. The fabric alone cost me $500. I also have a matching card/gift box and some table runners that are more of a silk fabric, perfect for smaller tables. Thanks for your interest!

My wedding is chocolate and sky blue. I have sky blue dresses with brown trimming. I want to know if my maid and matron should have a brown dress with blue trimming.

You can do whatever you want, but i think it would be fine to have the same dress for all. Where did you get your dresses from? I have been looking for some that sound like that.

Have you considered blue Hydrangas? I`m a custom wedding designer specializing in custom invitations and site decor. The company logo colors are choco brown and blue. You can see the combo at http://www.c-3design.com

Anyways I recently did a wedding show and decorated the booth in the company colors. I had the florist we use do an arrangement in blue Hydrangas, white tulips, white roses, and brown dogwood branches. Then I tied a 3" brown satin ribbon around the vases. It looked perfect.

Hi Angela,

I would love to help with reception decor, centerpieces and favors and I custom make everything so the color combination (which is quite pretty by the way) would be no problem at all and you will not believe how great my prices are - very budget friendly.

I also have a great sale right now on floating candle bowls and glasses for favors

My godchild is marrying in May, she has the same color theme, guest table decos consist of white hydrangea with a touch of blue, favors will be wrapped in aqua blue netting with brown riboon, bridesmaid will carry off-white roses with a touch of brown and blue, then the bridesmaid boquets will be used on wedding cake table after ceremony to accent the tables, along with the church flowers, helps keep costs down.......just thought i`d share...

My daughter`s wedding turned out beautiful. She used hydrangeas. The bridesmaids wore brown with a touch of blue, the junior bridesmaids wore blue with brown. I ended up making the sashes for the covered chairs.....they came out great! The trick is to use a bit of a six-pack plastic ring to pull the material through to make a rosette.
Tables were decorated with white linen and glass bowls of blue beads with candles.
Her cake : http://www.kimscakeshoppe.com/wedding_cake_012.htm
With brown added to the blue.
It all worked. And the ties/table decorations have been used for two other weddings (so far).
Enjoy!
