May Wedding- Anything New In Colors?

I`m a wedding photographer and last year`s top colors were the mocha & pink. This year what I`m seeing is the shimmery sunset coral dresses and tan tux/suits on men. As far as pastels go, mint green with touches of plum also stands out beautifully in photos. Hope this helps! =)

Hi, I am a wedding coordinator and I have found the new colours for spring and summer 2006 to be light lime green (paired with chocolate brown, classic white and lavender). A good way of choosing colours is to pick your favourite colour (I don`t think you should be worried that your friends are using pink for their wedding, this is your wedding and if pink is your fav, you should use it. If your still worried, you can always use a different shade) and then add on a colour that corresponds to the season in which your wedding is taking place. In your case, lighter shades will work well. You might also want to consider the formality of the event as this plays a big part in choosing your colours. For example, if you are having an elegant reception in a ballroom, then you should not use pink and green as these colours, when paired together, give a country feel. Hope this helps you! – Lisa
