Reception Location Ideas Please

Greetings all! I am a newly engaged woman... Very very very happy needless to say! But in the midst of floating on cloud 9... I am hit with the reality of planning this event in a short period of time... Less than a year. I am interested in ideas for a reception site in Williamsburg, VA. Something very beautiful but not huge. We will be hosting a reception at the church immediately following the ceremony and then a more intimate reception following for select guests. Any ideas would help me out greatly. Hope to hear from you! Thanks!

Hi Tonya, Congratulations on your up coming wedding. Williamsburg, Va should have several places for a reception. Time might be the deciding factor as places get booked way in advance. You might check with the Historical Society at Williamsburg and see if they can suggest a location for you. You didn`t say when the wedding date is to be or how many guests you are planning on having to the special reception. An outdoor reception will require a caterer be hired.
