Too Much Color?

Hi! Hope you had a Merry Christmas! Thanks for replying to my mesage about the colors. Im still not for sure what colors Im going to do although I found some pool colored bridesmaid dresses at davids bridal, despite everyones hate for the store. I like your colors.I was just wondering how you were going to use the colors-what I mean is..are the bm`s dresses going to be lavender? how are you going to use the pool and coral colors?and what ideas you had for your boquet..welll write me back and maybe I can be alittle bit more opinionative.if thats a word. Maybe we can be help to one another.

I was going to use pool for my maid & matron of honor and lavender for the rest of the bridemaids. The coral would be on the flower girls. I wanted the flower arrangements to have the mixture of pool, lavender, coral, and ivory lilies and perhaps roses. I saw the bouquet in a bridal magazine that I have. I loved the pool at David`s Bridal, but ended up at Ventura`s Bridal Shop in Houston, Texas and found some better quality dresses at wholesale prices. The color is more aqua than the pool blue that I orignally selected. The dresses are made out of chiffon, which makes the attire more spring and flowish than the heavy satin and organza.

I have not gotten the full visual on what the guys are gonna do. My fiance would like to wear ivory vests and ties to balance out the colors. That is something that I am gonna have to think about.. What`s your suggestion?

I think if you like it the world will love it...and if they don`t WHO CARES i`ts your day! I`m getting married in May of 2007 (and I already have my dresses) I`m wearing Ivory and Pool...my bridesmaids (3 of them) are in Oasis and 2 in Pool...i`m going to mix in a bit of silver..at least with the decorations...to bring out the colors, and I think it will be absoutely beautiful! So do your thing...and it will be GREAT... Oh yeah, Congrats!

I used pool for my wedding. I hand dyed all of my flowers and some of the accent items. I loved it. I also found crystals in the pool color and redid my tiara in that color. I think the colors you chose are beautiful.
