Teen Party 14-16
My daughter is having a party with about 40-45 guests. There isn`t a special occasion, just a party with her friends. We need some ideas for things to do in the 7-11pm hours at the party. I want the kids to have some activities that are not to "kiddy" and geared toward teens so that they will all have a good time, not be bored and stay out of trouble. We have a huge backyard and pool (it`s a little cold now, but we live in Arizona, so you can still swim). I`m thinking of hiring someone to DJ, but in case I can`t get one on short notice, what kinds of things would the kids be in to?

Well i just thought that i might tell you that some people dont plan on any games a t my house they just dance the whole time so we really dont have anything to do. You can have a dance contest but im not really sure.

Letting the music do its thing and the kids dance and fool around is porbably the best bet. The music is really dance oriented nowadays and a DJ would be a good idea. The kids may come up with their own games but having a DJ as a staple would be good, and give it a cool feel.
What city/state are you in?
What kind of music are they into?

If they like to swim then let them swim and here`s something teens don`t like. They don`t like for there parents to be around its ok if you come in every 10-15 minuts but don`t go in there and try to embarris her because the other teens will talk about her for the rest of the year. You probobly want to have some teens that love to eat and if your ice box is EMPTY then they will really talk about her. If you really want her to have fun don`t be worried about what`s happening in there. Try more to think on there level and be kind of cool in other words don`t be up tight. Well that`s about it . If you have any more questions then you should have my email feel free to email me any time

First of all the party should start at 8 or 9 and last until about 2 in the morning, Next just get a dj and let the children dance. If they wanna do something else life eat or something then make them something to eat.

Dude, I know this may sound really stupid and immature, but hide and seek is the best!! esp. If its w/boys and girls and if you have a good amt of land to run around in. DEFINATELY let them swim too. You tOtaLLY have the pErfEct house for a party. I wish I had your house. No need for a dj either. Just have a portable cd player out there and let them choose the songs. I`d probably make a dance mix cd or something.
P.s. That other person was right---stay out of sight during the party and be sure to have PLEnTy of food.
