Deprovera Shot - DONT DO IT!

I had used the depro shot for nearly four years starting at the age of 19. Three of those years I had no period. Many of the side effects I contributed to the amount of stress I was dealing with at that time in my life. After losing 15lbs, my body structure completely changed. My breast size went down an entire cupsize, my hips went from a size 9 to size 3 and my sex drive was non-existent. I developed serious acne on my back which has not gone away. Two years later I am still dealing with those side effects. Even after gaining the weight back, my body never was the same. My breasts remained the same size and my hips are still very narrow. My periods are very light only lasting 2-3 days and my sex drive never came back.

I am very concerned about the long term effects this shot has caused including osteoperosis and decreased estrogen levels. I feel like I am losing bone mass because my hip size keeps decreasing but my weight is staying the same. My doctor doesn`t seem to be concerned but I feel like these problems could be very serious. What kind of advice have you received? Do you know of anything to reverse the effects?
