Need Help Picking Out Colors

Hi! It sounds like you want something that is non-traditional. Me too! I am getting married in July 06 and am using chocolate brown and olive green. I love earthtones and I wanted my wedding to be original and reflect my taste. To me, the emerald or hunter green and silver would look a little Christmasy. I could be wrong. I am sure there would be ways of decorating that would make it not so reminescent of the Holidays. You would have to be careful with it though. With the wedding being in August, I think it is wise of you to stay away from the pastel palate. Like I said, I love earthtones so no matter what part of the year, my colors would probably stay earthy. But August, in my mind brings shades of fall. Especially toward the end. You could use burnt orange and chocolate. Maybe apple red accents. You could use the olive green (what can I say? I love it!) with chocolate brown or a golden yellow. With fall colors, there are endless options. Let me know if you like the fall palate, and if so what colors in particular. I could give you some more ideas if you would like!
