Depo
I have been on Depo for over eight years now. I love not having a period and the symptoms that go along with it. I started Depo at the age of fourteen. I haven`t had a period in about five years, but some side effects I think I`m having from the shot are hair loss and I think due to the loss of calcuim, my teeth are rottening away. I`m really thinking about getting off of Depo soon and just resulting to condoms. It seems that all other birh control methods have too many side effects (pills, patch). My only concern is that I`m probably going to have bad side effects from getting off of it. Like heavy periods & painful cramps.

Hello! I just wanted to let you know that another solution for birth control is the ring. It`s safe, and low hormone. Also, you only have to do something once a month! It`s easier to remember once a month than every day. You should talk to your doctor about it. Good Luck!

Hi, I know how you feel. I am only 13yrs old at the moment. I have periods once a month. Don`t worry, are you planning to have a baby because the periods stop when you are pregenet. I know the feeling of pain when you are having a baby. I have not had a baby yet( I am far to young now) I have watched on T.V about having a baby and It looks good to watch. I am in Y9 now but when I am in Y10 I am mabye going to take Child Care. I will put up a message on here again If I do. You can take tablets if you want your periods back again, it may cause some side effects though but never mind. If you want to ask any questions then email me at emma.wood92@ntlworld.com. Hope this helps!
