Outdoor/Beach Wedding

I need some advice about having a outdoor or beach wedding. They seem really beautiful and fun. I am worried about inclimate weather though. What are some precautions to take to prevent the wedding being ruined if it rains? Also, we were thinking about a wedding on St.Simon`s Island off the coast of Georgia. Does anyone know about this area? Also, does anyone know any good websites that give a list of things needed for a wedding, like a checklist for wedding planning? Thanks for the help.

I, too, am in your same situation. I am wanting to have a beach wedding, but not really sure where or how to begin. I am looking at somewhere in coastal georgia or south carolina. Would love to share information. Let me know.
