To the staff at Classie Sounds,

First let me start out by saying that every single person on your staff was one of the nicest people I had to deal with during the process of planning my wedding. Isabella, Keith, Steven, you were one of the vendors that put my mind at ease. Up until the wedding, you were very pleasant and professional. One thing I thought knew for sure, being the house DJ for Russo`s, seeing you at their expo, and after meeting with all of you, I would not be disappointed with my DJ and music.

To my surprise, I could not have been more wrong. The list below simply highlights the poor service we received;

I faxed over a list a week before our wedding of our entire wedding party (28 people). I left a voice mail with your office to confirm that the fax was received. When I arrived at my reception hall, the Bridgeview Yacht Club, I was told that Keith did not have the list. I informed the Bridal attendant that it was faxed to Classie Sounds, but Keith indicated, he did not have it. So the list, of 28 people, in the mist of us trying to get our pictures done, had to be recreated.

As we were lining up to walk into the reception, Keith informed us that he did not locate the song that we requested during our meeting (which was a week prior to our wedding) for the groom`s parents ("I walk the line" by Johnny Cash). He asked us if we would like to hear something else as we were lining up to walk into the reception! This was not the appropriate time to tell us that this song was not available and to ask us what would like to hear. The list and the song requested was given to him over a week prior to the wedding. Additionally, Keith showed me that he had now found the bridal party list that was faxed to your office!

At your professional discretion, not one, but three Bob Marley songs (I like Bob Marley, but not that much) were played during our reception, practically in a row, including "Buffalo Soldier". I am not a DJ, but I it does not seem like a good idea, unless of course, it was a Rastafarian Wedding. Which it was not. My request list was very extensive. For some variety, the list should have been referred to. There were songs that were indicated as mandatory that we did not hear, couldn`t`t they have replaced at least one of the Bob Marley songs. Finally, Dave (the groom) had to go over to Keith and ask him what happened to the songs we requested. Then, more than halfway into the night, what we wanted to hear was being played and the party was going.

During our meeting, Keith and I discussed cutting our second song in half ("He`s got a way about him" Bernadette Peters), as it was very long. This was not done and the whole song was played.

One of the worst things, I had a special song being played for my mother and Keith called her out to the dance floor "Mrs. Fishgerald". It was practically 10:30, by then, I think he should have gotten my mother`s name right, FITZPATRICK. It was insulting and embarrassing.

Obviously, I was truly dissatisfied and disgusted with the service your company provided. Unprofessional and unprepared would be the best way to describe my experience with Classie Sounds Entertainment on September 17, 2005 our wedding day.

(I sent this in an email to Classie Sounds and they never even responded or apologized for their poor performance)
