How Can I Incorporate This Color
Hello,
I`m so confused on what i want. I recently went to a wedding of a friend of mine and she had the colors I wanted, apple red and black. Can`t copy. So, when I first started thinking about another color burnt orange came to mind. My date is set for Aug 2006. I love the thought of that color b/c it`s different, but I think I want it as an accent color. My dress will be ivory and I just dont know how to coordinate it. Should the BM`s wear black and have orange flowers, etc? Please help me, girl.

Here`s the problem I see with this... Halloween. Orange and black look like halloween. I would say try black and gold with apple red or deep crimson accents here and there. Maybe use a maroon or red wine color. If the Gold sounds scary, don`t think gaudy gold coin, think burnished antiqued or even an off white type gold. But If you do decide on the Orange be VERY careful or you`ll end up with trick-or-treaters at your ceremony!

Try using chocolate brown as the other color besides black. I know this sounds weird like it woudn`t look right but put your men in black tuxes with chocolate brown vest and ties. I am and I think it looks great!! When I first tell people they are all like "EEEEK!!" but then when I show them what it looks like they like it. With the brown, the burnt orange will look great. I have seen many bridesmaids dresses in burnt orange and chocolate. Forever Yours and several other brands do those colors. There are pretty flower options too! Orange callas with chocolate roses and hypericum berries, and a few white roses to keep with tradition of course. My colors are chocolate brown and olive green so I have searched the fall and warm hues! Good luck!! Hope I helped!
